There could not be a better answer to all the late night cravings, Fatayer is an Egyptian meat pie eaten all around Arab countries. Fatayer is called the Egyptian pizza and has almost the same ingredients as of an Italian pizza, the only difference is that Italian pizza has all the toppings on the outer side of the bread whereas Fatayer has all the ingredients stuffed inside the bread.
All the toppings are first placed on the bread and are then covered with a much thinner second bread to be baked in a large stove. Once done, this is how it looks like
With stuffed cheese, chicken and extra olives, this was the best thing happening to me at about 3 am :D :D
Easy on stomach and rich in vitamins courtesy all those olives and the oil, this is a favorite of many.
Not sure of any food competitions it could go to, help me with it if anyone knows about any.
